New Beginnings North East Ltd

New Beginnings North East Ltd provides support to adults with learning disabilities to live in their own homes and participate in the community. This might be up to 24 hours a day support by a full time staff team e.g. in independent supported living scheme or contracted hours per week by a support worker e.g. in Outreach work where the person still lives in the family home.

Our Aims

Our aim is to enable people with learning disabilities to live full and purposeful lives in their community and develop a range of activities including leisure interests, friendships and relationships, spirituality and education.

General Objectives

Each Service User is encouraged to participate in the running and operation of their home.
Each Service User has a team of Support Workers to help them meet their needs, ambitions and aspirations.

We do this by

Providing a setting in which living, learning, development and planning can take place within a caring and constructive environment.

Supporting and helping Service Users to develop their skills and to participate in meaningful activities with whatever assistance they require.
Helping Service Users to connect with their community.
Giving Service Users the same status as any other valued member of the community..
Complying and seeking to exceed the standards and regulations of the C.Q.C. local authority, Supporting People, Valuing People and the Housing Corporation.
